Annual Outing to TMI Talegaon: 18th & 19th January 2025
Dear Cadets, Alumni, and Maritime Enthusiasts,
It’s time again to rekindle friendships, relive cherished memories, and recharge our maritime camaraderie at the much-anticipated Annual Outing of the DMECA. This year's gathering will be held at the serene and picturesque Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI), Talegaon, on Saturday, 18th January, and Sunday, 19th January 2025. Prepare yourselves for 24 hours of laughter, fun, and connection as we come together to celebrate the legacy of our beloved Alma Mater.
Whether you knew it as DMET, MERI, or now as Indian Maritime University (IMU), our Alma Mater remains the cornerstone of our professional journeys and personal growth. As Shakespeare famously said, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet,” and so does our institution, which continues to inspire pride and nostalgia among all its alumni.
This event is more than just a reunion—it’s a tribute to the times we spent at DMET and the shared experiences that shaped us into who we are today. Mark your calendars now and prepare to join fellow alumni for this unforgettable weekend.
